Healthy Grocery Tips

 

Add variety to your meals - try foods you've never tasted.

 

1. Organic Whole Grains such as Quinoa, whole and steel cut oats, brown rice.

2. Organic Fruits and Vegetables such as red/green cabbage, kale, spinach and romaine - Organic apples, pomegranates, mangos.

3. Nuts & Seeds; almonds, walnuts, pecans.  Preferably unsalted

4. Organic Beans and Legumes; chick peas, kidney beans, lentils.

5. Organic Oils & Fats – flax oil, olive oil coconut oil.

6. Dairy; Organic rice milk, almond milk

7. Beverages; Green and black tea, homemade juices, water

8. Sweeteners; organic applesauce (homemade is even better) maple syrup, organic, unpasteurized honey, Stevia

9. Condiments/Seasonings; apple cider vinegar, garlic, ginger, "Brags" liquid aminos, celtic sea salt

10. In moderation; organic chicken, wild salmon, organic turkey
